Silent Fall is a French melodic speed metal band known for their energetic performances and distinctive sound.
The band was originally founded in May 2005 under the name Winterland. From the outset, they quickly made a name for themselves on the live music scene, performing on prestigious stages such as the Trabendo and La Cigale in Paris. They also took part in renowned events like the Raismes Fest festival, further establishing their presence within the French metal community. Building on this early momentum, the band signed with Pitch Black Records and released their debut album, Otherwise, in 2010.
Otherwise was met with critical acclaim, praised for its powerful melodies and technical musicianship. The positive reception led to new concert opportunities and a growing fanbase. However, despite this success, the band decided to take an indefinite hiatus in 2011 due to personal reasons.
After a 15-year absence, Silent Fall has recently reunited, driven by a renewed passion for music and a desire to continue the journey they began years ago. The current lineup features Adrien "Handy" Eyraud on lead vocals, Olivier Caron and Pierre Cabannes on guitars, Nicolas Lopes on bass guitar, Galäad Lebeaut on keyboards, and Nitram on drums.
Silent Fall’s music is characterized by a blend of melodic and heavy metal, enriched with symphonic elements that add depth and atmosphere to their sound. Each member brings their own musical influences and experiences, resulting in a unique style that stands out in the genre. With their return, Silent Fall is ready to reconnect with their audience and introduce their distinctive sound to a new generation of metal fans.
